Theme Settings Typography
Multipurpose Fashion Theme
Typography defines how text appears across your entire store. Proper typography improves readability, branding, and conversion rates.
Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize → Theme settings → Typography
1. Headings
Heading Font
Setting ID: type_heading_font
Select the font family used for all headings (H1–H6).
Base Size
Setting ID: type_heading_size
Controls the main heading size in pixels.
Letter Spacing
Setting ID: type_heading_letter_spacing
Adjust spacing between letters.
Line Height
Setting ID: type_heading_line_height
Controls vertical spacing between heading lines.
Capitalize
Setting ID: type_heading_capitalize
Forces headings to uppercase.

2. Body Text
Body Font
Setting ID: type_body_font
Select the font used for paragraph text and descriptions.
Base Size

Controls paragraph text size.
Letter Spacing

Adjust spacing between body letters.
Line Height
Setting ID: type_body_line_height
Controls paragraph readability.

3. Language Direction
Setting ID: language_direction
Choose between:
- Left to Right (LTR) – English, Spanish, German, etc.
- Right to Left (RTL) – Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, etc.
This setting adjusts text alignment and layout direction automatically.
Best Practices
- Use one heading font and one body font
- Keep body size between 14px–18px
- Use proper contrast for readability
- Avoid excessive letter spacing
- Test on mobile devices
