Overview
Forms and newsletter sections collect customer information and enable contact. This theme includes Email signup (newsletter) and Contact us (contact form). Use them for email marketing, support, or lead capture. This guide is for merchants, prospective merchants, and theme reviewers.

Email Signup
Collects email addresses for your newsletter. Integrates with Shopify Customer accounts and email marketing apps.

How signup works
- Submissions create customers in Shopify (if they don't exist) or add to existing customer record.
- For advanced email marketing (list segmentation, automation), use an app like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Shopify Email.
- Some apps add a custom form or replace the default with their own.
Compliance
- Ensure privacy policy is linked and you have consent for marketing emails (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Contact Us
Contact form for customer inquiries. Submissions create a contact request in Shopify Admin.

Form fields
Typically: Name, Email, Phone (optional), Message. Fields are defined by the theme; customization may require code.
Where submissions go
- Shopify Admin > Settings > Notifications > Contact form submissions.
- Or use an app to route to helpdesk (Zendesk, Gorgias, etc.).
For merchants
- Email signup: place near footer or after key content; use clear value proposition.
- Contact form: ensure support email is monitored; consider adding FAQs to reduce form volume.
- Test both forms before launch.
