Overview
The Featured collection section displays a grid of products from a single collection. Use it on your homepage to highlight Best Sellers, New Arrivals, or a curated collection. The section shows product images, titles, prices, and a "View all" link. Product styling (image ratio, badges, quick add) is controlled by Theme settings > Products and Product tiles.
Where to Add This Section
- Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
- Select Homepage (or desired template).
- Click Add section.
- Choose Featured collection.
- Position below the hero or other key content.
- Save.

Quick Setup (3 Steps)
- Select collection — In section settings, choose the Collection to display.
- Set product count — Choose how many products to show (5–10).
- Add heading — Enter a heading, or leave blank to use the collection title.

Product styling (Theme settings)
Quick add, quick view, image size, zoom, hover image, color swatches, vendor, savings, and tile style are controlled under Theme settings > Product tiles and Products, not in this section.

Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Add the section
Add Featured collection to your homepage (typically below the hero).
Step 2: Select your collection
- In section settings, find Collection.
- Click and select a collection (e.g. "Best Sellers", "New Arrivals").
- Ensure the collection has products and images.
Step 3: Configure display
- Heading — Enter "Best Sellers" or leave blank to use collection title.
- Products — Set to 8 (or 5–10 based on your layout).
- Desktop products per row — 4 for standard grid; 5 for more compact.
- Show "View all" link — Keep On so customers can view the full collection.
- Enable swipe on mobile — Turn On for horizontal swipe on phones.
Step 4: Style (optional)
- Heading size — Use Large or Extra large for emphasis.
- Heading position — Center for symmetry; Left for alignment with content.
- Show section divider — Use if you want visual separation.
- Save.

Behavior
- Heading: Leave blank to use the collection title automatically.
- Product styling: Uses Theme settings > Products and Product tiles (image ratio, badges, etc.).
- Empty collection: If no collection or products are available, the section displays a "No products found" message.
- Product order: Follows collection sort order (manual, best selling, newest, etc.).
Use cases
- Best Sellers — Manually curated top products
- New Arrivals — Newest products in collection
- Seasonal — Summer picks, Winter essentials
- Sale — On-sale collection
- Featured — Hand-picked editor's choice
For merchants
- Choose a curated collection (e.g. manually sorted Best Sellers).
- Ensure collection has at least 5–8 products with good images.
- Use "View all" to drive traffic to the collection page.
- Adjust Desktop products per row based on product image aspect ratio.
Accessibility
- Grid has appropriate list roles.
- Product links and "View all" are keyboard navigable.
- Image alt text from product images.
- Heading hierarchy (h2) for section title.
Common mistakes

FAQs
The section will appear empty if no collection is selected or if the selected collection contains no products.
- Open Theme Customizer.
- Select the Featured collection section.
- Choose a valid Collection.
- Make sure the collection contains published products.
The section displays only the number of products specified in the Products setting.
- Open section settings.
- Increase the Products value.
- Maximum allowed is 10 products.
Products follow the sorting order of the selected collection.
- Go to Products > Collections.
- Select your collection.
- Change the Sort setting or use manual sorting.
- Save the collection.
If the Heading field is left empty, the section automatically uses the collection title as the heading.
You can change heading alignment in section settings.
- Open Theme Customizer.

- Change Heading position to Center.
When Enable swipe on mobile is turned on, the section displays products in a horizontal scroll layout.
- Products can be swiped left or right.
- This improves browsing on small screens.
- Disable swipe to return to a grid layout.
Product image sizes are controlled in theme settings, not in this section.
- Go to Theme settings.
- Open Products.
- Adjust Image ratio.
The View all link appears only when a collection is selected and the setting is enabled.
- Select a collection.
- Enable Show "View all" link.
The section supports up to 10 products to maintain performance and layout quality. If you need to show more products, consider using a Collection template instead.
