Overview

The Product Gift Card template (product.gift-card.json) is used for gift card products in your catalog. Gift cards have unique checkout flow (recipient email, message). This template provides the product page layout for physical or digital gift cards sold as products.

Note

Shopify also has a gift card redemption experience (when a customer redeems a gift card), which uses gift_card.liquid. That is separate from this product template.

How to Apply

Products > Edit gift card product > Theme template.
Select product.gift-card.
Save.
