Security and best practices

  • HTML blocks can include <script> tags; theme does not strip them.
  • Use only HTML/code from trusted sources.
  • Avoid user-generated HTML without sanitization.
  • Test embeds on mobile for responsiveness.
  • Consider performance—heavy scripts can slow the page.

For merchants

  • Use sparingly when other sections don't fit the need.
  • Test embeds on mobile.
  • Keep HTML blocks minimal unless you know what you're adding.
  • If unsure, contact theme support or a developer.

Common mistakes

Mistake Fix
Embed not showing Check embed code; some require HTTPS
Layout broken on mobile Use Mobile layout Stack
Script conflicts Avoid multiple conflicting scripts
Unsafe HTML Only use HTML from trusted sources
Block order wrong Drag blocks to reorder
